The Metropolitan Opera Guild has announced that it will scale back all programming effective immediately, and become a supporting organization of the Met Opera.

At this time, the Guild is preparing to close operations at the end of September, and oversight of the Access Opera dress rehearsal program will be transitioned over to the opera house directly. We are still in the process of transferring over all the information, but the process will more or less remain the same for the upcoming year.
