Hannah Madeleine Goodman, Teaching Artist

Soprano Hannah Madeleine Goodman is an emerging artist on the operatic stage, hailed for her “very adept coloratura” (Parterre) and her “exquisite dynamics” (Voce di Meche). Opera highlights include: Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, Center for Jewish History in NYC); Amadeus Live (LA Opera); Constance in The Sorcerer (Utopia Opera); Emmie in Albert Herring (Utopia Opera); Pamina cover in Die Zauberflöte (Opera On Tap NYC); outreach tours for LA Opera and Opera Saratoga; Young Artist at the 2019 iSING! International Young Artists Festival in China. Ms. Goodman is commended for her earnest storytelling in musical theatre, favorite credits including: Fannie in Bundled Together (Hollywood Fringe Festival, world premiere); The Hunchback of Notre Dame (La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts / McCoy Rigby Entertainment). Ms. Goodman also had a costar role on the television series Glee. She is an alumna of LA's Next Great Stage Star, where BroadwayWorld praised her performance as “beautiful…[one] of the highlights,” and has premiered two solo cabaret shows in Los Angeles: Too Fat for Musical Theater, Too Skinny for Opera at the E Spot Lounge and Almost Like Being In Love at Upstairs at Vitello’s. Ms. Goodman is a Teaching Artist for the Metropolitan Opera Guild and LA Opera, a USC Thornton School of Music alumna, and a proud member of AGMA, Actors’ Equity, and SAG-AFTRA. She is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Entertainment Law & Industry from USC Gould School of Law.
